Eloho Efemuai is an acclaimed worship leader and radio host. She is married to UJ Efemuai and together with their 3 kids are based in Aberdeen, Scotland U.K. She is a seasoned worship leader who has led various worship teams for over 3 decades. Her new album “Unrestrained” is a mellifluous combination of tracks showcasing her abundant gifting of music genres ranging from worship to inspirational and life giving songs spiced with a distinctive African flavour that motivates and energises you to worship God even in the very confines of your home.
Her love for singing developed at a very tender age and according her late mum would make music out of any and everything and even did ask if the things she thought in her heart could be written down as songs. At age nine months, not only was Eloho walking, she was talking and singing! Mention a new word to her hearing and Eloho would turn it into a song; it didn’t matter if the word was “butterfly” or “sponge”! So prolific was she in her musical prowess that she was named “Eloho Singana” after the South African lead singer in the popular musical of the seventies “Ipi Tombi “, Margaret Singana.
Since then there has been no stopping her, after releasing her debut album ‘Arise’ in 2014, Eloho has gone on to impact the lives of everyone she encounters. She is an inspiration to many and is passionate about bridging the gap between various cultures in the place of worship
She is the convener of Engage night of worship an initiative of Heartsong Ministries whose mission is to stir up worship that touches God and transforms lives. Engage has had the privilege of hosting renowned artists and emerging worship leaders such as Philippa Hanna, Muyiwa Olanrewaju, Ian White, Steph Mcleod, Isabella, Bob Fitts, Chevelle Franklyn and a host of others. Engage nights have had the honour of encountering hundreds of people, whose lives have been greatly impacted by the power of God’s spirit.
Her love for God and people reflects in her music, her art, and in everything that she does. She has a burning desire to inspire and encourage people to be who God has called them to be. Her Radio show “iTestify with Eloho” is encouraging many lives across the Globe. She possesses a personality that mirrors God’s kind of love. One of her greatest joy is working with compassion Uk in bringing relief to the world’s poorest children.
