“Every sound carries a token!” – Dunsin Oyekan

Gospel music minister, song-writer and multi-instrumentalist, Dunsin Oyekan shared on his Instagram page about his encounter with God concerning songs. Below is what he said:

Some time ago, the Lord said to me, “Dunsin, I don’t give a song; I give a SOUND.” He said a SOUND comprises of the Melody, Music and Lyrics.

A SOUND carries revelation. This explains why some songs are just one line and they carry such Grace.
The fact is, what we react to is not the lines; we are reacting to the SOUND. Every SOUND carries a token. It is saying something.

“Then the seventh angel SOUNDED: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev. 11:15) When the seventh angel sounded a trumpet, the token of that SOUND was “the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our GOD and of HIS Christ….” As ministers, we need to be able to connect to this frequency where we can download Heaven’s SOUND here on earth. (Psalm 65:4)

Remember, every SOUND carries a token!
